My name is Saxon Smith. I am native to Oklahoma, and am Sooner born and bred. I went to my dream school at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner) and graduated from the college of International and Area Studies. In 2011, I studied abroad as an exchange student at Yunnan University in Kunming, China. I met my husband in college, and moved to Oklahoma City in 2013. I have since learned to love Oklahoma City and call this place home.

I have been intrigued by photography for years, but my husband bought me my first DSLR for Christmas in 2014 and it has been a daily learning experience since then. I started off my learning process with landscape, nature, urban, and long exposure photography. I began doing portraits in late 2016, and that has added a whole new ballgame to this thing called learning!

I hope you’ll take a look around at my work, and feel free to follow me on Facebook and Instagram to keep up!
